We were working in the backyard yesterday when Martha said,
“Look, the trees have leaves”.
I said, “I know that”.
She pointed at the wall and said that would make a nice photo. I said “Oh!” and pulled my camera out of my pocket.
The rest is a history, as they say. Thus we have a photograph of redbud leaves on a wall.
Shadow of Leaves on Building in Late Afternoon Sun
Maybe not Earth-shattering, but it's a little different and we like it.

Very Artsy. Well done.
The message of the leaf shadows is very powerful and full of hope and optimism. Spring is such a wonderful time and each year its impact becomes more and more meaningful to me. I really like this post!
I really like this photo!! It makes me smile as I know the feeling of waiting and waiting for signs of the full spring.
Well, I'll tell you -- that is a very excellent photograph, and don't let anybody persuade you otherwise. Just the other day I was shooting a stucco wall down at our Civic Center, and the pine trees near it cast the most amazing shadows on to it... I always wonder if I'm the only one who notices the beauty of it, but probably not...
Thanks to all for the positive comments.
Shadows can be informative, interesting, thought provoking, or sometimes just mysterious.
I guess these were an affirmation of Spring. Thankfully it's finally arrived.
Great one!
Beautiful!! thanks..
Beautiful! Somehow it makes you feel that something else is about to happen, something is coming....
Cheers,
