Up on top of the Mountains
Near Keno, Yukon,
Udder
Where the baby Stone Sheep gets his milk.
This is a two spigot model.

Under the Ice
Ice cave Above Valdez, Alaska
(photographed by my sidekick, and
top photographer of the Expedition - Martha)
The river of water must have been a lot bigger earlier in the Spring to have cut a hole or ice cave this large. The cold wind was really whistling coming through the tunnel. I could see light at the other end of this river tunnel (Cave), but wasn’t too sure about the stability of the ice. I sure would like to have explored it to the other end. There are a lot of Glacier and Ice Fields above

Nice!I like all three photos:) But if I have to pick out one favorite it must be the first one. I'm a mountain girl you know.

Hi Troy & Martha! Thanks for your visit - and a good solid "U"!
I thoroughly enjoyed browsing your blog! I'll be back!
Cheers, Klaus
It's all "Udderly" beautiful and always a joy to visit!
It's like coming home when I visit your blog. I have lived here in BC since I was born in 1966; it's very pretty the way you portray my province from time to time here on this blog! I have lived from the coast to the Rocky Mountains of Alberta and so much of what you show is so familiar. Very nice.

Nice and beautiful pictures.
Thanks for your comments on my blog.
Troy, great shots all. Wish I could ride one of those clouds like a magic carpet to Alaska! That's an awesome shot! It looks like you could just walk out into the sky!
Thanks for dropping by my post. Your pictures are so wonderful! Thanks for sharing!
Very nice trio of ABC Wednesday photos! I can feel that cold wind right now here in Portland, Oregon--well, I'm indoors, but it is quite cold for June.
U did great.. good job..a life of adventure, thanks for sharing.
what wonderful photos! they give a real feeling about the mountains!
I've done up and under as well. I saw the heading on the next post below--must go see...
Breathtaking scenery, especially the top one. Terrific choices for U.

Mine in here Thanks
very beautiful captures. specially the first one. great landscape
You like to live dangerously Under the glacier! But the view was breathtaking.
Mine is here.
Goregous set of up shots.
Loved the embracement of nature your photographs displayed!
This is a place I should like to visit! I like those mountainous countries with glaciers. In New Zealand we went up a glacier by means of a helicopter. Thanks for showing. Thanks for your visit.
Wonderful view and sky-scape in the first photo. I had to look up your Stone's Sheep as I hadn't heard of it, and it looked very like a goat to me. Sweet photo.
up and under
lovely selection
Troy: Very nicely down with your 'U' project.
U two are so unique!
These are all exceptionally good U choices, but the first photo is breathtaking!
Thanks for cooling me off with that ice pic. ;)
Great photos for 'u', intrepid travelers!
Thanks for sharing the beauty.
Happy Wednesday!
Three great shots! good "U's"!
You certainly live in a beautiful environment. I enjoyed the journey
The two spigot model made me laugh ...
Wonderful Us!
:-Daryl
"Louis" was (ahem) udderly taken by your "U".....
Re your question as to how "Louis" gets to la petit péninsule - he strolls over. It is only about 1/2 mile from Chez la Vache. As the crow flies, it is much closer, but "Louis", having hooves rather than wings, chooses not to jump the 14 floors down and hoping the momentum will carry him across I-80 and I-580 below and across... "Louis" is inclined to believe gravity would work against him....
"Louis" just noticed "Rocky Mountain Girl" was also udderly taken in by your photos...
Really fantastics shots!
It was very, very beautiful!!!
I had to laugh...
I may have "Ukon", but I never would have guessed "Udder"...
Great choices, I love that first picture, a nice view.
Wonderful post today! So much you´d seen.Lucky you.
Y'all live the life I dream about... one day...

Beautiful & very clever. You seem to be having so much fun!
The mountains and sky above are my favorites, but as the summer wears on, I suspect the ice caves is going to become more and more appealing.
The ewe was a great choice, too.
Nice line up of Us and photos today, Troy and Martha. That top shot is spectacular and gives me the feeling of actually standing there!
Udderly amazing.
love the view up on the top of the mountain, great shot really.
Ah... so there you are ... nice meeting you!
And great photos as usual.
Oh, wow, I love some of your photos--the one with the clouds looks like they are just suspended there.
Awesome shot of Under the Ice.
