Hello, I just moved from Irving in May after living there for over two years. This is a treat because I just started exploring B&W. I really like it, Montana is beautiful.
It's funny that my first blog post ever was the same day as your last one before today.
Patty and I and our children were in Glacier National Park and enjoyed it. It was way back in 1967. We had a new Ford Fairlane 500. I was impressed with the sky and how it seemed to lay on top of the car. That was the same year, before we got there at the park, that campers were killed and partially eaten by bears while still in their sleeping bags. We didn't stay long.
All right Ansel, you sure do know how to make a comeback! This is outstanding! No, I have never been here but I have come close! I've been to Yellowstone and out the north gate to Gardiner, MT.
Fabulous when enlarged! Enough is as good as a feast, I like the fact that there is enough contrast to bring the picture to life, but not too much to make it overpowering...the landscape is enough to overpower one anyway.
Beautiful photograph. And no I have never been there. Someday I would like to travel and see all of the national parks. For now I will just have to enjoy living just miles away from Joshua Tree National Park.
Glad to be back here for a visit... and with such a view to welcome me back... places like this will be in my dreams or wish list of site to visits... Nice to see a Sky Watch in B&W.

Welcome back!!!! Love the shot... simply gorgeous!
Haven't been there before ... it looks like a beautiful area, of course. So many textures of lands that really catch my eye in the photo.
Nice to see the posting up here!
Hope you are both doing well.

Nice shot of a beautiful part of the country, it works well in monochrome.
There seem to be an uncommon number of Martha bloggers for what I always found to be an uncommon name or maybe it was just the area I grew up in.
That's a spectacular shot. Happy skywatching!
That's a poster out there. Very very good shot.
Haven't been there but it looks beautiful and majestic.

My husband and I took our kids there several years ago, it's beautiful country. Your photo is compelling-the monochrome emphasizes the textures.
Never been, been close but not quite there. Great photograph.

Glad to have you back blogging, I have stopped by numerous times and thought you quit.
Do you live in an area that is being hit hard by the lack of rain?
Beautiful image, love the b&w!
