Sky Watch Friday

.

We have been doing a lot of yard work and and home projects lately,
so no blogging for a couple of months.

I hope everyone is doing well.
I'll try to catch up on visiting everyone over the next couple of weeks.
It's raining here, so no outside work.

I thought I would share out March calendar (with a sky),
and a March moon (made with a point and shoot through the eyepiece of one of our telescopes).

Welcome back! I was fascinated by that pipeline and the way it suddenly made some curves while the road seemed to be going straight ahead. I suppose they knew what they were doing.

You've got a "better" moon that the one I caught two days ago. I could need some tips here

Troy, I'm so glad you are back. Your photos are fantastic as always. I love the colors in the photo of the haul road and how do you get all that detail in the moon shot? Mine always come out white glowing balls! (next lesson) :)

BTW, do you actually publish calendars with your photos?

Thanks for all your help and encouragement. I consider you a friend and I hope that Gus and I get to meet you one day.

Gorgeous Moon and skies. Moon very crisp and well-done.

I hate word verification too, but I do not have time for comment verification when I get a whole string of junk--sometimes hundreds all at once. I had turned them all off, but had to turn them back on--I tried for a while to moderate but it was taking TOO TOO much time.

I wish there were some other better way. Or that you could sign in once and stay signed in--but I suppose then the spammers could do that too.
